Detroit River Guided Walleye Jigging Charters:
Walleye fishing trips available on the Detroit River from April through May. Walleye are lots of fun to catch on lite tackle. Techniques vary depending on time of year but we focus on jigging and some casting. Early mornings and afternoons are great times to catch walleye! Be sure to follow us on social media- during the winter blues we will offer occasional walleye fishing specials! Walleye enter the river system beginning in March with peak fishing in April. The spring walleye fishing is a popular time of year, so be sure to book early for the spring walleye season.
Pricing:
Up to 2 anglers is $400 for a four hour trip (5 hour trip available for additional $100)
Additional anglers are $100 each
Includes fish cleaning
*All fishing gear is supplied including bait and tackle
What to Bring:
- Dress for the weather. A good reminder to always bring a raincoat just in case.
- Polarized sunglasses are your best friend while fishing!
- Beverages (cans only)

- Sometimes fishing best on the Canadian side, your guide will let you know ahead of time if you should get a Canadian fishing license
Tipping your Guide:
A tip (gratuity) is tradition in the fishing world. The gratuity is not included in the price of the trip. Please tip your guide at the end of the trip. A cash tip for the guide is preferred. The average tip is between 20-25% of the cost of the trip per day.
Reschedules and Cancellations:
Your deposit will only be refunded if you cancel the trip more than 7 days prior to your reserved trip date. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied towards a future trip at our discretion.
In the event that the river is not fishable due to changes in river conditions or weather we may need to reschedule or cancel. If this happens you will be contacted by your guide.
